Bradley was a game pioneer. With others, he was the one of the
first to launch the game industry in North America. Before inventing
his first game, Bradley was a successful artist, with a specialty
in lithography.
In 1869, Bradley published America's first book on kindergartens, Paradise of Childhood, by Friedrich Froebel. The Milton Bradley Company has produced the Game of Life and Candy Land. Formerly one of the world's leading manufacturers of games and toys, it is now a division of Hasbro, Inc. |
